  Beautiful location.
  Beautiful walks, especially this time of year, so green and lush.
  We stopped for refreshments, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
  The venue is very good.
  We did stay at the accommodation, but it looks good, as the location is beautiful.

  Lovely slice of heaven. Extremely peaceful and cozy getaway. However, I value a good nights sleep on a mini vacation… the beds are very hard and the bed sheets are about 30 years old. With sun/peg stains on them. It wouldn’t cost much to update all the cabins bedding to something fresher.
  Also, the bed rooms only have very very bright lights, so if you’re wanting to read a book before bed in a nice dimmed light, you can’t.
  
  Otherwise it was nice. But small chances could be made and it would be nearly perfect.

  This was our first visit to Evedon Lakeside Retreat Restaurant for Sunday session with lovely entertainment and we weren’t disappointed! We were a table of eight and everyone was very impressed by their meal. Such friendly staff and a wonderful location. If there was one thing that could have improved the moment, it would to have had the lovely big fireplace burning.

  Absolutely cracking spot - cannot fault! Cabin interiors however are quite old - kitchen cupboards, broken tiled floor in entry of cabin 2 (in our previous stay) and the most uncomfortable lounge chairs ever (in all cabins)! No hairdryer or toiletries except for soap, supplied. Bathrooms have been renovated & are extremely large & cold. Restaurant meals were outstanding for value, size and taste - thoroughtly recommend!! And gorgeous views to boot!

  Absolutely brilliant experience! The staff were exceptional in accommodating us for our daughter's third birthday and I will definitely keep the conference room in mind for work functions.
  The food and scenery were exceptional!
